Q: Why don't you support the AAX plugin format?
A: I will one day, but at the moment, I just want to get started with just VST3.
Q: What's this whole FastSpring thing?
A: Selling software to customers in many different countries means that dealing with all the different currencies and sales taxes becomes overwhelming. I have solved this problem by using FastSpring as a "merchant of record" which means that I sell my software to you through them, and they do currency and tax calculations and pay all the taxes worldwide. It makes things much simpler.
Q: Do your prices include sales tax?
A: In most countries, the price includes sales tax. However, a few countries (such as the USA) are special cases, where tax is added on.
Q: Do you offer discounts for students?
A: No, at this time I don't. Sorry.
Q: Do you offer volume discounts?
A: Yes, I offer volume discounts for purchases of at least 20 licences. Contact us.
Q: Do you provide free updates?
A: Yes, for five years after your purchase. After that, you must purchase a new licence to receive updates. Its expensive to keep updating software to run on new versions of the operating system, so I do not provide free updates forever because that would be unsustainable.
Q: Do your plugins require access to the internet to run?
A: No. You must have access to the internet to install our plugins, but once they are installed, you can go off into the wilderness with your laptop and use our plugins without the internet, confident that our plugins won't suddenly stop working for copy protection or licensing reasons.
Q: If I move my music production to a new computer, will your plugins stop working?
A: No. So long as you copy your file system across to the new computer, our plugins will keep working. They are not locked to your machine ID.
